This morning we got up at 8am to finish our packing. After breakfast we started loading our bikes and by 11h30 we finally were on the road to Al Ain, where we will cross the border into Oman.

After a good hours drive we stopped at a fuel station for something to eat, as UAE is not so strict about eating and drinking during Ramadan. A nice man even givted us some small water - how kind us that!

About 15h00 we reached finally the border. It was a bit chaotic to me on UAE side, but the worker there also spoke only little english 🙄

Entering Oman was simple, but signing my CdP seemed to take forever as their computer didn't accepted a 'value or parameter'. Also did the customs officer signed and stamped my CdP wrong 😳, so he had to do it again 🤭

Katrina obviously didn't hear where I was for customs, so by the time I finally was officially in Oman, she was back through customs to try to find me.

As I have no internet (yet) kindly a police officer of the close-by police station gave me internet to contact Katrina.

Finally reunited we headed to Ibri to a hotel, we want to stay for the night. That was 17h30 ... and we arrived at 20h00 😳😳

As the Ooredoo phone shop was on the way to the hotel, we stopped there...and their system is down, but I got already the card 🤭

Finally we arrived at the hotel and after check in and unloading we went out to find some food for tomorrow morning for breakfast as the rules for Ramadan are here strict. We got some fruits and smoothies 😋😋.

Back at the hotel we met in the reception area Ahmed, the president of the Nizwa Biker group and owner of the Nizwa Biker Camp - how cool is that? Even better, he knows the Moto Clube Faro (Zé the president) - small world!! And time for picture 🤓

Then it was time for me to finally lie down as super tired and tomorrow nearly 600km to do 🫣😳
