This morning I took it easy. I left the hotel around 11am and 1st stop was the carwash just behind the hotel. I needed to get rid of all the sand from the storm days ago, especially the chain, and in general from the seasalt in the air the last day, especially the last 2 days! Once done, I felt much better 😉

Fuel, and then off to the most Eastern point of the Arabic Península. Due to the heavy rain recently and as not too keen to put myself in a 💩show, I went as close as my skills allowed me 😅

Then I headed to Sur. What a lovely clean and tidy place!! Found a beautiful cafe shop, where I could have a delicious Iced Latte and Chocolate Brownie 😋.

Then I went to visit the Dhow Manufacturer. At the doorstep I met a nice Austrian couple and we just got carried away talking. Then it was time to visit that interesting traditional family business of Dhow construction. The normal sized Dhow construction time is about 18 months and the big one, they are constructing for tourist purposes, will be good 2 years.

Then I carried along the coastal road, which was very nice as on one side the sea and the other mountains. Unfortunately the Wadis, size of gorges, were on the other side of the "highway", so "impossible" to take poctures.

At Bimmah Sinkhole I bumped into a lovely couple from Portugal, how cool is that!! Also the guide, Khalid is very helpful and knows a lot. As getting late, and I didn't trust 100% the weather* I took his kind offer to camp here tonight.

Khalid cooked a delicious fish for us and we had a very good conversation with the convlusion: everywhere same stories, doesn't matter what religion 🤭🤭

*weather yesterday in Bahrain, Dubai and Muscat and surroundings was VERY bad!! So much rain that roads, villages, towns and Wadis were flooded, streets broken or flooded!! Dubai apparently had worst rain in 75 yrs; within 24hrs more rain than in 1 year!!
